i want for us to be more conscience consumers. don’t feel inclined to purchase this if it isn’t right for you! here is more information on the shirt so you can determine if this is the right t-shirt for you!
inspiration:
this t-shirt was intended to be the organic version of the famous oversized uniqlo tee. a 100% cotton version that has enough variability that you could size down for a tighter/cropped fit, or size up for comfy fit. you’d have enough of these tees to wear everyday, for every situation and however you felt (mentally) that day. all climates.
wrinkles:
i have always felt that style looks the best when you live it. i like “character”. i like the organic look. the material wrinkles quite easily. there may be tension around the collar, not on the collar. these to me, make a garment natural. it emulates life. it blends to yours. not everything can always be perfect. beauty, your way.
care:
for best results, wash in cold/tap water and air dry. this may be a hassle for people hence why i wanted to have the fabric go through a cycle of washing, this is done to prevent the fabric to shrink excessively. excessively being the key word. the garment/fabric can still shrink, especially under high heat. if you are looking for a t-shirt you can wash without worrying, this is probably not the shirt. i would recommend poly-blend shirts, those can undergo a beating.
production:
every step of production for this garment can be traced back to my partnership with our small workshop in 新界, 香港 (new territories, hong kong). you can trust that i have been involved with every aspect of production and those small business, human interactions are at the core of everything. every step of the way, where possible, i ensured production (even at higher cost) was done in hong kong. if not, the guangdong province (the surrounding province of hong kong). e.g. the labels, the tags, packaging, the shirt.
